We develop the students into creative individuals who learn to appreciate Indian heritage and arts. Interesting value additions like story telling, mime classes, temple visits, participation in Unchavritti (ancient street classical music form) are part of out teaching process.




Ranga Mandira Trust

It is a registered trust run with the motive of promoting research in arts. We conduct several academic lectures and presentations by scholars from various fields to educate the artistes and public on archeological, historical, spiritual, linguistic and contemporary aspects relevant to the art of dance and music. We also support archival and documentation of various source materials. We are in the process of creating a large library of resource books and multi media resources for artiste’s benefit.

We have produced several mammoth research based dance productions. We organize events and festivals in rural areas of interior tamilnadu and other southern states to inculcate an aesthetic sense in our rural masses and children and also to give platform to the local, rural and folk traditions. Our prime motto is
1.     Personality enhancement through culture and art  
2.    Research and academic pursuit of serious nature.
3.    Promotion of art to the masses
4.    Preservation of dance and music resources for posterity.

Activities of Ranga Mandira Trut
  • Art festivals to encourage rural artistes at Ganapathy Agraharam (village near tanjur) every year for the last 6 years
  • Series of Lecture/ demonstrations by archeologists on aspects of sculpture, temple structure and performing arts in temples.
  • An annual dance seminar titled “Sri.T.S.Parthasarathy memorial dance seminar”
  • Lec/dems by senior dance gurus, devadasis and other scholars,  as documentation
  •  Art camps for students of music and dance at various south Indian villages as part of “Parampara series”
  • Assistance in researching and production of research-based music and dance projects from seed to stage.
  • Publication and reprints of important works under “Sri.T.S.Parthasarathy educational, research and publication Trust (regd)”
